An improvement in population health is increasingly recognized internationally as a key element of economic and social development and nowhere is this more evident than in emerging countries with growing economies. This course provides a broad-based understanding of health and its social and environmental determinants with a curriculum informed by key international strategies, the Sustainable Development Goals and the Social Determinants of Health. Course Summary

Law is taught from a range of perspectives, based on the finest traditions of legal education and recent innovations for the 21st century. Our approach is to examine law well beyond basic legal rules and legal institutions, taking account of wider contexts and discourses that allow deeper understanding of law in society. With this approach, the University of Suffolk provides students with a firm grounding in the subject of law and the contexts in which law functions. Equally important is the breadth and depth of education that this subject facilitates. Students will be equipped to take on challenging questions about law and related issues, and to apply their knowledge and skills in a variety of contexts. This course places emphasis on the use of law to solve problems. With this in mind, teaching and learning on this course is designed to encourage the development of strong legal and problem-solving skills. Course Summary

The BA (Hons) Business Management programme covers a broad range of management topics and is designed to give students an overview of how businesses work, and how managers can affect and improve business performance. The modules on the programme will ensure that students develop a good understanding of basic principles, important elements of management, leadership and strategy and develop skills that will support students’ employment or further study after they graduate.

This Master’s programme is in compliance with Zambia’s current national strategic focus on the gradual development of higher education. The viva voce examination is an intense and challenging experience, but we offer relevant guidance and support to help our research students prepare for this important milestone.

Despite government promising to support the growth of the mining sector to become one of the main foreign exchange earners, the department tasked to look after the oil and gas sector seems to have no capacity and resources to perform, according to a recent report…
The report says technical officers at the Department of Mines do not have continuous trainings to ensure independent and competent analysis when conducting field verification visits where oil and gas companies are operating…

There is a strong desire for certificate and diploma level accountants to upgrade to degree level as a stepping stone to becoming a Chartered Accountant. This online programme may appeal especially to those potential students who are working and already have experience of accounting and financial management, but do not wish to give up employment to undertake full-time studies. The research is supervised by a PhD-qualified tutor within a structured format over a period of 14 weeks, resulting in a dissertation that is both internally and externally examined.

The aim of Unicaf University’s Bachelor of Arts programme in Business Administration is to develop the students’ intellectual capacity, executive personality, and managerial skills in a way that enables them to assume entry-level managerial positions in business and industry and other organizations, and to enable them to initiate entrepreneurial business ventures.

The Unicaf University Malawi PhD in Information Technology is an integrated programme awarded on the basis of a research dissertation (240 credits) and also incorporates a preparatory taught element (120 credits) that provides students with the necessary tools to undertake their research, appreciate current research issues in the field of Information Technology, and assume future leadership roles in their respective institutions. It is the field of focus of the dissertation (67% of total credits), rather than that of the taught modules (33% of total credits) which imparts the name “Information Technology” to the qualification.

This programme aims to equip students with integrative thinking combining intuition, analytical reasoning and imagination, and link it with transformational leadership capabilities including systems approach for them to become successful leaders in public health. The curriculum is designed to help students develop key knowledge, competences and capabilities integrating a range of perspectives relevant to the public health system in which they will be operating.
