Introduction and Rationale
This Master’s programme is in compliance with Zambia’s current national strategic focus on the gradual development of higher education. Drawing on Zambia’s Education for All 2015 National Review, and complying with Unicaf University’s principles, the M.Sc. in Managerial Psychology will contribute in broadening access and participation to high quality relevant education, with the efficiency and effectiveness of modern education delivery systems. Managerial Psychology holds a pivotal role in the responsiveness on various imperatives of the time affecting general welfare of humanity with varying shades of complexities.
The M.Sc. in Managerial Psychology aims to equip students with an ability to deploy skills and understanding in a range of seminal and contemporary issues surrounding psychological principles and research applied to business environments, through techniques of critical analysis, reflection and evaluation, complying with the pronounced long term educational goals of Zambia, which focus on the development of individual learners in holistic manner that address their cognitive developmental needs, affective and psychomotor skills.
Moreover, equally important, are clarity of thought, knowledge of the possibility and limits of application of psychology in working environments, the capacity to explore issues, and present positions, in a structured and methodical way as well as the capacity to recognize and accommodate insights from a variety of sources. In other words, the meaningful acquisition of relevant skills and knowledge to enable students to meet challenges and lead individual fruitful lives, while empowering them to contribute to the sustainable development of their immediate environment.
Since the education sector has  vastly been embracing the potentials of online learning in the area of education, the M.Sc. in Managerial Psychology is offering improved content delivery. During this course, students will be able to apply Psychological principles to the working environment and thus develop vital skills and knowledge in order to become successful in the field of Managerial Psychology.

Each Doctoral student  must take a number of online modules and also complete a dissertation. Students must defend their dissertation in a "viva voce" (oral) examination which can be completed online. The viva voce examination is an intense and challenging experience, but we offer relevant guidance and support to help our research students prepare for this important milestone.

The BA English Language and Literature is an innovative threefold degree programme which is comprised of English language teaching methodology, English literature and linguistics modules. The students will study the linguistic systems underlying language, exploring in detail how the language is structured, acquired, used and taught. The courses of the linguistics component aim to provide students with a thorough grounding of the principles underpinning the study of language and the diversity of linguistic study. The teaching modules

The courses in literature in English target the critical analysis of literary texts and film of different historical periods, geographical locations and genres.

1. There is a general need for more PhD graduates in Zambia and sub-Saharan Africa and thus a need for more PhD programmes (British Council and DAAD, 2018).

Rationale: 

The programme will enable students to develop communication skills and learn about the art and science of medicine in its wider social and ethical context.  They will learn the importance of health and wellness through disease treatment, prevention, and research. The study of the foundations of medicine course will be subservient and tightly linked to students’ participation in extensive clinical placements in healthcare facilities through the integrated clinical practice course. Students will develop an understanding of the importance of lifelong learning and how to be resourceful in seeking information and adapting to new technologies. 

Upon graduation, students will have become efficient caregivers, and competent professionals with a fundamental understanding of the science of medicine and its application in society, resulting in highly competent and caring doctors.
